Saber Interactive and Focus Home Entertainment dropped a co-op campaign trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at Summer Game Fest 2023.

The full campaign will be playable either solo or cooperatively with AI or friends for up to three players. The developers also confirmed that the game will be released this Winter (although that could be interpreted to mean early 2024 rather than December 2023) for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.

Pre-orders are now open for the physical editions and the Collector's Edition. The latter includes the game with exclusive cover art, a hand-painted resin statue of protagonist Lieutenant Titus (21x17.5cm, 1.265kg), a 64-page artbook, and an official steelbook.

Sequel to the acclaimed 2011 third-person shooter game made by Relic Entertainment, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was announced at The Game Awards 2021. Centuries have passed since the events seen in the first game. At some point in this timeframe, Captain Titus has chosen to subject himself to the Rubicon Primaris,  an extensive and extremely painful surgery that transforms Firstborn Space Marines into Primaris Space Marines.

In Space Marine 2, Titus and his squad face a Tyrannid invasion on the Imperial civilized world Macragge, located in the Ultima Segmentum of the galaxy's Eastern Fringe.
