Since glass is prone to breaking, we recommend that all Vision Pro customers buy AppleCare+ in case of damage. If you do not, the repair costs can go up to $2,400.

Apple's Vision Pro features a metal chassis, but the front of the headset features a curved display called EyeSight. The EyeSight screen is responsible for displaying information for people around the user. It can show the wearer's expressions and even let people know what content you consume. While it is great to have, glass can easily be damaged or scratched if not handled with care. If you damage the display or any other part of the Vision Pro, the repair costs will be as much as $2,400.
The high cost is equivalent to a 14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro with 1TB of storage capacity. Henceforth, it would be wise to get AppleCare+ for the Vision Pro headset, which costs $499. The headset's service page states that it will cost you $799 to repair the cracked cover glass, and additional damages could cost as much as $2,399. It would be better to buy another Vision Pro at this point.
AppleCare+ for the Vision Pro will cover damages for two years. Customers can also pay $24.99 monthly for AppleCare+, and the payments will stretch until you cancel it. Nonetheless, the service will include unlimited repairs for accidental damages. It also contains Apple-certified service and support, Express Replacement Service, and 24/7 access to Apple experts. However, despite AppleCare+, you must pay for replaced accessories, such as a Light Seal, which costs $29 as a service fee.
Given the hefty price of the Vision Pro, it would be wise to get AppleCare+. Additionally, customers are advised to keep the headset in a safe place after using it. Apple also sells a case for the Vision Pro, which you can buy for $200 from the company's online store. However, third-party manufacturers will launch cheaper options in the coming weeks, so stick around for more.
