Titan Legion Debuts 1440p@425Hz IPS Gaming Monitor, Boasting 10-bit Color Depth and HDR600 Support
Chinese monitor maker, Titan Legion, has rolled out its newest high-end IPS gaming monitor that boasts 1440p resolution and a native 400 Hz refresh rate out of the box. The monitor is called "Cangdao X276T", where Cangdao translates to Blue/Cold Blade/Sword. The X276T offers up to 425 Hz refresh rate, making it a powerful, competitive, yet affordable gaming monitor for serious gamers.

The Cangdao X276T offers a fast IPS panel on a 27-inch screen that offers a quick 0.5ms GtG response time for quick frame transition. It also offers a decent 600 Nits of brightness in the HDR mode, enabling vivid image quality. The monitor offers a wide color gamut, bringing 130% of sRGB color space to produce vibrant colors, and through the 10-bit color depth, it can produce 1.07 billion colors for an excellent image quality.

Hence, the Cangdao X276T isn't just made for gamers, but is also ideal for professionals to carry out tasks such as content creation and color grading. The X276T offers multiple display outputs such as 2x HDMI 2.1 and 2x DP 1.4 ports that support high refresh rate at 2K resolution. Through a highly ergonomic stand, it also offers various adjustments, such as height adjustments, swivel, tilt, and pivot.

The Cangdao X276T has been launched on JD.com at a price tag of 2,499 yuan, which translates to around US$360. With a subsidy, users can buy it for as low as 2,374 Yuan or US$343 in some regions. The price seems fine, but considering some 2K OLED monitors have dropped to a sub-$400 price tag, it makes less sense to buy IPS monitors at $350. However, if 400 Hz can make a big difference, then the Cangdo X276T can be a decent display for competitive gameplay.
