The new PlayStation 5 hardware revision released this month isn't that much smaller than the original model of the console, and if you have been disappointed by the console's limited reduction in size, you should definitely check out the custom-made Tiny PlayStation 5.
This extremely compact custom version of Sony's current generation console was created by Not From Concrete, who recently shared a video detailing the whole building process, the tiny console's features, its cooling, storage hacks, controller charging, and more. Needless to say, this custom version of the system is extremely impressive, putting the actual PlayStation 5 slimmer revision to shame with its bigger size.
The somewhat smaller size of the PlayStation 5 "Slim" isn't the only feature that sets it apart from the original model. The new console features expanded internal storage, two front USB Type-C ports, and compatibility with a detachable disc drive which is sold separately. This drive, however, comes with some issues that have yet to be addressed, such as the online registration requirement, which must be performed again after a factory reset of the console it was first registered on, which could potentially render it useless if the online registration service ever goes offline.
