Apple’s pre-orders for the iPhone X began yesterday and the delivery estimates have already slipped to 5 to 6 weeks. Now, a day after, orders have already started shipping to customers. At this point, Apple has not yet updated order statuses on its website. Nonetheless, some pre-order customers have started receiving shipping notifications. This means that the iPhone X orders began shipping ahead of the delivery date which was Friday, November 3rd. So let’s dive in to see some more details on the subject.

iPhone X Orders Begin Shipping To Customers Ahead Of The Official Launch Date

As we have mentioned earlier, Apple will update its order statuses from “Preparing for Shipment” until later this week when orders will reach their set destination. However, iPhone X models which are shipping in the United States via UPS are in transit state and you can track them using a UPS My Choice account. If not this, you can also track your package via the reference number from the UPS website.

If you’re up to track your package via the reference number, it often requires your zip code and phone number. While some users are seeing their orders on the UPS website, not all of them have been transitioned to UPS. So we advise you to give it a day or two and your orders will show up soon. Some users have also seen their delivery dates improve, which means that Apple could be covering up its supply constraints.

At this point in time, ever since minutes after the pre-orders went live, the supply of the iPhone X is sold out completely. Current delivery estimates are at 5 to 6 weeks if you order the device today. With that said, placing an order today would mean that your iPhone X won’t reach you until the end of November and or December. Since the demand for the iPhone X is pretty high, Apple is working to ship out the maximum number of iPhones.

If you failed to pre-order the iPhone X on October 27 and can’t wait weeks for the delivery, you might have a chance to pick one up from your local Apple Store. That’s right, the iPhone X will be available for in-store pickup from the Apple Store. However, we would advise you to arrive early. We will update you guys as soon as we hear more details on shipping.
