Nexon and Neople have unveiled The First Berserker: Khazan, a single player action RPG with Soulslike influences based in the popular Dungeon and Fighter (DNF) universe, at The Game Awards 2023.

The project has evolved quite a lot throughout its development. Five years ago, it was presented as Project BBQ, an online action RPG. In March 2022, Nexon and Neople announced the rebranding to Project AK, a single player action RPG now known as The First Berserker: Khazan.

Players will step into the role of the Great General Khazan following his victory against the Berserk Dragon Hismar and the Dragon Legion. At the beginning of the game, Khazan is falsely accused of treason and banished outside the empire, prompting his quest for vengeance.

• YOU MUST PREVAIL: Players must survive the relentless pursuit of imperial forces, navigate conspiracies aimed at killing Khazan, and overcome the harsh environments they encounter.
• YOU MUST REMEMBER: Khazan was once a hero in the history of Arad, a once-in-a-lifetime figure. As the forgotten hero, players will recall the skills of battle learned through brutal torture and slay the enemies who defame and stand against him.
• YOU MUST RECLAIM: Players will find all potential enemies, reclaim everything that was taken from Khazan, seek revenge, and regain honor and glory.

The First Berserker: Khazan will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. There is no launch window yet.
