Terminator: Survivors

Two years after the project's original announcement, Terminator: Survivors was unveiled during NACON Connect 2024. Developed by NACON Milan, it's an open world survival game based on an original story set in 2009, after the events of the second Terminator film.

That means players will have to face Skynet before the founding of John Connor's resistance group. They'll need to try and survive in this post-apocalyptic world while dealing with other humans (who will be vying for the same resources) and, of course, the machines. At first, the player character is said to be unaware of the existence of Skynet and the Terminators. That will change quickly, and upon discovery of the truth about the human-machine conflict, players will band together with other survivors.

The story will feature famous characters from the franchise as well as brand new ones created specifically for the game. Moreover, it will lead to the founding of John Connor's resistance. In the gameplay, scavenging resources throughout the open world will allow for the improvement of the base. While Terminator: Survivors is playable solo, cooperative multiplayer will be supported.

The game will enter PC early access on Steam from October 24, with a console launch planned at a later time.
