A new Starfield texture pack that is now available for download for free improves the game's visuals considerably with some really high-quality textures.

The HD Overhaul Pack, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, provides new and improved HD textures ranging from 2K resolution up to 8K, which replace hundreds of the game's vanilla textures. As this texture pack is still being worked on, future updates will provide additional high-quality textures. Needless to say, the new textures go a long way to make Starfield look much better than its vanilla state, as highlighted by the screenshots below.

Despite some issues, Starfield is still a game worthy of any RPG fan. While dated in some aspects, the space RPG by Bethesda is an engaging experience and one of the best games put out by the studio in a long time, as I highlighted in my review.

With an engaging story, well-developed characters and lore, and a huge amount of meaningful content, Starfield is one of Bethesda's finest games and one of the best role-playing games released in the past few years. The lack of seamless exploration and real innovation of the typical gameplay formula from the studio are noteworthy, but those willing to forego these issues will find a reactive and sprawling sci-fi universe to lose themselves in for hundreds, if not thousands, of hours.

Starfield is now available on PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide. The game is also available as part of the Xbox Game Library on PC and consoles.

Starfield is the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
