SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX Vega 56 Limited Edition First Look [Video]
The wait is finally over, the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX Vega 56 and 64 are finally upon us. The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega cards come factory-overclocked. The NITRO+ RX Vega 64 model features a GPU with 4096 Stream Processors running with 1611 MHz Boost Clock. For the NITRO+ RX Vega 56, the chip features 3584 Stream Processors clocked and Boost at 1572 MHz. Both models come equipped with two stacks of HMB2, featuring 8 GB in total. The memory is clocked at 945 MHz (Vega 64) and 800 MHz (Vega 56). With these clocks, according to SAPPHIRE, the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX Vega models should achieve up to 7%better framerates when compared to reference cards. If needed, both models can be easily switched to a 2nd BIOS for energy-saving Efficiency Settings using the switch on the side of the card.
In the video we take our first look at the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX Vega 56 Limited Edition and it's features that make it unique to the Radeon RX Vega series of graphics cards. While the full review isn't ready yet feel free to feast your eyes on this monster of graphics card. I have throw in an mention the excellent cooling design for the 16 phase VRM, a copper block with two dedicated heatpipes going to their own separated heatsinks on the the outside edge of the graphics core heatsink, simply smart design for this triple slot behemoth.
