A new Rise of the Ronin action-packed trailer was shown during yesterday's The Game Awards, providing the best look yet at Team NINJA's open-world action game.

The new trailer, which can be watched below, shows how the game will feature some of the studio's signature excellent action game mechanics, making it almost feel like open-world Nioh, which wouldn't really be surprising, as it is being directed by Fumihiko Yasuda, the director of the popular Soulslike series. The trailer also confirms the game's March 22nd, 2024 release date, making it one hell of a day for video game releases, as Dragon's Dogma 2 and Princess Peach: Showtime! also launches on the same day.

Rise of the Ronin launches on March 22nd, 2024 on PlayStation 5 worldwide. More information on the game's setting and pre-orders, which will open next week, can be found on the PlayStation Blog.
