PUBG Wins DICE Action GOTY Award; Xbox One and PC Development Roadmap To Be Shared “Soon”

At this year’s DICE Awards, PUBG has won the Action Game of the Year Award alongside an award for outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was among those games that received multiple nominations, including a nomination for the Game of the Year award.

“PUBG wins Action Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay at the @Official_AIAS DICE Awards”, the game’s official Twitter account tweeted. “Thanks to all our players for an amazing year. As we look ahead, our number one priority remains providing improvements and updates to the gameplay experience.”

In other PUBG related news – the game’s development team has shared that an Xbox One and PC development roadmap will be shared “soon”.

Last week, Bluehole community manager Sammy Kang already confirmed that the team is working on a roadmap for PUBG. “Our dev team has been working on a dev roadmap for early 2018 in the past few weeks”, she wrote. “It's about time we update you on what's happening and where things are at. We will share this roadmap with you soon once we have finalized all the details.”

PUBG is available now for PC through Steam and Xbox One. As of yesterday, ping-based matchmaking has been implemented on the game’s live servers.
