PNY is known for showcasing some fancy new graphics cards each year at Computex, and this year, they showed off the RTX 5070 Metal Edition.
The Only All-Metal RTX 5070 From PNY Comes With Metal-Fans & A Slim Dual-Slot Design
Last year, PNY showcased its Iron Core "GeForce RTX 50" graphics card at Computex. The cards included flagship models up to the RTX 5090 with triple-fans, but the company never released these variants to the public.

This year, PNY is once again showcasing an all-metal design. This time, they have a GeForce RTX 5070 Metal Edition model, which features a dual-fan design that incorporates their SLIM series form factor. The new form factor promises a slimmer footprint, which is wider and taller, but hey, at least you get to save space somewhere.
As for the fans on this card, both of them are fully metal. And these fans are one of the reasons why only one of this card exists and why it never went into full production. Being all metal means that these fans are real sharp. As such, they can cause harm to your fingers and hands, even when not in operation.
The good thing is that the PNY SLIM series does exist in standard "non-metal" options. We were told by PNY that the production on the SLIM series is now entering volume, and even though we got to see the reviews a few months ago, the retail availability will begin soon. PNY's RTX 50 SLIM series looks really nice given their compact form factor, and makes for an interesting choice for gamers with limited space within their PCs.
