OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3, tvOS 9.1 Beta 2 Released
It's pre-release day today and apart from releasing iOS 9.2 beta 3 for developers and public testers, Apple has also pushed out OS X 10.11.2 beta 3 to developers as well as the second beta of tvOS 9.1.
Apple pushed out iOS 9.2 beta 3 a few minutes back and also saw it fit to push out the third beta of OS X 10.11.2 to developers and topped off things with tvOS 9.1 beta 2.
Installing the new beta build of OS X 10.11.2 is a walk in the park. First of all, make sure that you save all of your work as the installation process requires you to restart your Mac. Once the saving process is out of the way, make sure you're connected to WiFi and then launch the Mac App Store. See the 'Updates' tab at the top? Click on it and let the Mac App Store refresh properly. Once that's out of the way the third beta of OS X 10.11.2 will pop right up, waiting to be downloaded onto your Mac. We recommend that you do not touch your Mac during the update process as anything can go wrong, and you, of course, want to be as safe as possible.
tvOS 9.1 beta 2, on the other hand, is also available to download for those who are enrolled in Apple's Developer Program. The beta is focused towards registered developers only and public beta testers are left out of the action. We highly recommend developers to update to beta 2 straight away to benefit from its bug fixing and performance enhancing nature.
It's great to see that Apple is working round the clock to improve its software across the board, and things get better when you realize how streamlined bits and pieces are at the current moment in time.
Given the amount of betas Apple has released in a short span of time, we are certain that the final builds aren't too far off from this point onwards. Whenever that happens, we will cover each and every single bit of it right here, so stay tuned to our coverage.
Users in the ownership of a Mac running OS X 10.11.2 beta or an Apple TV 4 running tvOS 9.1 are requested to update to the latest pre-release builds straight away while the rest of us can only sit and wait for the final builds to arrive.
