OnePlus set a pretty bold example with the OnePlus Fold, easily becoming the best foldable to come out this year. Shortly after that, the OnePlus 12 was announced in China, showing everyone how the company is looking to take back the throne from several of its competitors that have been vying for the spot. Now, the more affordable OnePlus 12R is getting a lot of attention because it is looking to change the upper-midrange segment for years to come.

OnePlus 12R is not looking for excuses as far as the screen is concerned, as the phone packs a compelling display

We know that the OnePlus 12R or the OnePlus Ace 3 will be officially released next month and will also be available in global markets. Today, we have some official information on the display that will make its way into the latest budget king, and things are looking good.

As you can see in the image above, the OnePlus 12R has a pretty impressive display. Not only does it achieve a blinding 4,500 nits of peak brightness, but it also comes with some pretty compelling features. For instance, the 8T LTPO is claimed to be better at power consumption while maintaining accurate colors. Combine that with an A+ from DisplayMate, and we don't see why the display on the phone is not going to be a smashing hit.

Sure, all these things sound incredible on paper, but the real-life result could end up being entirely different. Yet, we are certain that OnePlus has done some hard work with the OnePlus 12R, and it is not going to disappoint, at least not when it comes to the performance or the display, for that matter. Based on all the information we have been looking at, this phone will definitely challenge the best of what Samsung and other companies offer.

As far as the release date is concerned, the OnePlus 12R will be going official on 23rd January in global markets alongside its elder siblings. However, a Chinese launch will take place in the first week of January. This means that you will not have to wait a long time for the new phones, regardless of which region you are from.
