Samsung is going to unveil the Galaxy S24 series in just two days, and based on everything that we have heard so far, we can also expect the One Ui 6.1 to be released around the same time. The phones will already be running the latest OS out of the box, so it is obvious that the company will go ahead and introduce the latest update formally.

Samsung is already testing One UI 6.1 on several Galaxy devices even before the update is officially available

Based on all the information we have received so far, One UI 6.1 will be a significant update even though number-wise, it might seem like a pretty small deal. Samsung will be adding a lot of AI-oriented features, and a new tip suggests that the company is already testing the update for several of its older devices.

The tip suggests that One Ui 6.1 is currently being tested for the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5. As well as Galaxy S23, S22, S21, and S21 FE. Not just that, Samsung is also keen on showing some love to the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. This means that the company already has some ambitious plans for the older phones that I thought would not get the new update.

Now, as far as the updates are concerned, it is worth noting that a lot of the stuff in One UI 6.1 will be all about AI, given that AI will be a big part of the upcoming Galaxy S24 series. This makes me wonder how it is going to play a role in the update for the older devices because it does matter that the older devices are getting some if not all, AI-based features.

Whatever the case might be, considering how we are not that far from the official release date. We are going to hear a lot more about the One UI 6.1. As a matter of fact, you can expect a formal announcement from Samsung any day now, and we will keep you posted as soon as we hear more about it.
