A new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Unreal Engine 5 graphical showcase has been released, showing the Temple of Time and some impressive water physics.
Created by known German Youtuber Digital Dreams, this new showcase features the UE5 fan recreation of Ocarina of Time from digital artist 'CryZENx', complete with the YouTuber's custom ReShade preset. As said, the video shows the iconic Temple of Time located at Hyrule Market. It's an impressive 8K showing, and we're pretty sure that fans will appreciate this new video. Check it out below:
'CryZENx' is known for his fan recreations of Ocarina of Time within Unreal Engine, including his Unreal Engine 4 re-creations. In late 2022, the artist switched to development in Epic's most recent game engine. You can check out a comparison video, comparing Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 here.
Those interested can download a demo of the fan creation from the creator's Patreon page.
Released in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is being by many as one of the best games ever created and best Zelda entry in the franchise. On the other hand, both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have become insanely popular among fans as well. Here's what we wrote about the most recent Zelda release in our launch review:
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sticks closely to the blueprint established by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it’s a richer, more rewarding game in most ways that count, offering a more intricate world, versatile suite of abilities, epic story, and satisfying dungeons. The familiarity of this Hyrule and a handful of frustrating sections keep Tears of the Kingdom from feeling quite as surprising and magical as its predecessor, but make no mistake, the wait has been worth it. While it probably behooves Nintendo to carve out an entirely new Legend next, Link’s latest should fill most fans’ heart meters nicely in the meantime.
