It looks like the race to secure the GPU frequency world record with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 is in full swing as overclocker CENS has now achieved a frequency beyond 4090 MHz.

Colorful, GALAX & ASUS have been competing to hit the 4 GHz barrier and while ASUS was the first to achieve this impressive feat with its brand new ROG MATRIX design, the RTX 4090 iGame LAB is taking things one step ahead with an overclock of 4090 MHz.

The impressive feat is once again achieved by German overclocker, CENS who has recorded various wins and global records with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. In the latest session, the overclocker was able to achieve even higher overclocks of up to 4095 MHz which goes well with the 4090's naming scheme.

The overclock was achieved with LN2 cooling which is the way to go when pushing the chips this much. As for benchmarks, it looks like no 3D load was put on the GPU since the overclock may have been unstable but it's still impressive to see the GPU touching such high clock speeds.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 from Colorful in its iGame LAB variation has also been used to top various benchmarks which are listed below:
3DMark Hall of Fame

HWBOT with ECC ON

Unigine Superposition

It is simply impressive what all overclockers have achieved so far with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card but is it truly the limit of what the RTX 4090 can achieve? Only time would tell.
