NVIDIA has released a new Game Ready driver for its GeForce RTX graphics cards, optimized for DOOM: The Dark Ages - Revelations (out today) and Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced (out on Thursday, July 9).
DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations is id Software's campaign expansion, which the studio described as the culmination of 35 years of DOOM history. Despite being technically a DLC, it delivers 10-12 hours of content, equal to both DOOM Eternal expansions combined. The centerpiece addition to the Slayer's arsenal is the Chain Spear, a new weapon built around a high-velocity dash, an integrated grapple hook, and a deep upgrade tree. Structurally, the campaign splits into a 60% base game and 40% Endgame, anchored by the Slayer's Hub, a brand-new Metroidvania-style space that expands as players progress. Endgame content includes six unique maps, a Master-level difficulty, hidden retro doors leading to remastered classic Doom levels, and an ultimate Uber Boss unlocking four Master Arenas. With the latest news of heavy layoffs at id Software, this may be the last game developed by the studio in the foreseeable future.
Just like the base game, DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations features native support for DLSS Multi Frame Generation (up to 6X mode), Super Resolution, and path tracing enhanced with DLSS Ray Reconstruction. NVIDIA estimates that GeForce RTX 5090 owners will witness the game running at 310 FPS in 4K with max settings.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a full remake of 2013's Black Flag, rebuilt from scratch on the modern Anvil engine that debuted in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Combat has been reworked into a more action-oriented, parry-driven system with clearer visual indicators, while stealth now allows free crouching and includes an overhauled tailing/eavesdropping system. Naval gameplay, the franchise's most acclaimed feature, has been enhanced and is now affected by dynamic weather, and the game also includes new story content with expanded arcs for Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, alongside new officer-driven narratives.
The game supports ray-traced reflections and lighting, and GeForce RTX users can activate DLSS Multi Frame Generation, Frame Generation, and Super Resolution. The NVIDIA app also lets gamers upgrade to the latest DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution models.
Finally, NVIDIA revealed that after the latest content updates and its transition to Unreal Engine 5.5, MADFINGER Games' open-world tactical shooter, Gray Zone Warfare, has been upgraded to support native DLSS 4.5, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution.
