Nintendo To Talk About Nintendo NX By The End Of This Year; “Will Be 100% NX” By Then
Nintendo’s upcoming mystery console, the Nintendo NX, was absent from this year’s E3, but luckily, Nintendo will still talk about the NX this year.
For this year’s E3, Nintendo decided to go focus on the upcoming Zelda title for both the Wii U, and upcoming Nintendo NX. An ‘interesting’ decision since Nintendo is planning to release their new console within 9 months from now. The new ‘dedicated gaming platform, as Nintendo has described it, remains shrouded in mystery, and Nintendo has yet to detail the NX.
100 % Nintendo NX before the end of the year
Luckily, Nintendo will still talk about the console this year. At least, that’s what CEO of Nintendo Canada, Pierre-Paul Trepanier, told Canadian website Lapresse.
For this year’s E3, “We decided to focus on Zelda,” Trepanier told Lapresse. “We’ll talk about the NX by the end of the year. At that time, it will be 100% NX. There, it is 100% Zelda.”
Before the end of the year several gaming events are being held, but recent rumors claim that the Nintendo NX might actually be playable during EGX 2016 in September. It’s a good possibility that Nintendo will detail their console during one of their upcoming Nintendo Direct livestreams.
