New Pokemon GO Update for iOS & Android Rolling Out Now

Niantic is in the process of rolling out a brand new update to Pokemon GO for both iOS and Android. The update does not bring anything drastically new to the table, and instead focuses on the little things. There's added support for the Brazilian Portuguese language, as well as the ability to allow users to see how much they have to go through in order to earn the next medal tier.

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.63.1 for Android and 1.33.1 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.

-Added Brazilian Portuguese language support.

-Tapping on a medal will now show your progress toward the next medal tier.

Though it's not mentioned in the official changelog for the game, but it's likely that Niantic has thrown in some bug fixes and performance enhancements into the mix as well. These are necessary for the smooth functioning of the title on a daily basis.

The game is free as ever, with in-app purchases available to those who require them. If you are still playing the game, then it's highly recommended that you head over to the iOS App Store or Google Play and hit the update button. If you are feeling way too lazy, then you can head over to the download page by tapping on the links added below.

Though the initial hype of the game has died down, Niantic on the other hand, is not giving up on the title at all. From time to time we come across different events for the game, with the recent one making headlines this past weekend. There are likely more events on the horizon and we will keep our readers updated about them in the time to come.

In the meantime, take a small while to update the game on your devices.
