Hideo Kojima has shared a brand-new screenshot from his upcoming PS4 exclusive Death Stranding.
Kojima took to Twitter to show off some amazing looking moss following an E3 hype tweet from Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann.
“+1 on the T-minus 3 weeks”, Kojima tweeted. “#E32018 Decima×Kojima=DS.”
Of course, DS stands for Death Stranding, which runs on Guerrilla Games’ Decima engine. The engine has the resources for creating entire worlds.
"The Decima engine is not just about rendering," Guerrilla’s Hermen Hulst said back in 2016. Kojima later added that the Decima engine is "very appropriate for work on open worlds,"
Death Stranding, which will feature Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus, is slated for a release on PlayStation 4 next year.
