Telltale Games has confirmed to have entered into a partnership with Netflix. This was first reported on by TechRadar, though later official sources from both Netflix and Telltale Games have provided clarifications.

To begin with, Minecraft: Story Mode will be available as a five-episode interactive series coming to Netflix this Fall. Conversely, Telltale Games is developing a game based on the Stranger Things IP, as they mentioned in a statement published on their Facebook page.

We’re delighted by the response we’re seeing to the idea of Minecraft: Story Mode coming to Netflix in the fall as an interactive adventure, and separately, we’re thrilled to confirm that Telltale is developing a game based on Stranger Things that we’ll publish to consoles and computers at a later date.

Our partnership with Netflix is something we’re incredibly proud of, and while we don’t have anything more to share right now, we’re excited to reveal details on these projects later in the year.

In related Telltale Games news, the last season of The Walking Dead will debut on August 14th. Those interested in pre-ordering the game will also receive the previous season as gifts.
