NVIDIA had two ways to make the RTX 5070 an appealing GPU purchase for gamers looking to pick up the ‘middle of the pack’ hardware and bump up their framerate. It was either by increasing the VRAM count or lowering the price. Unfortunately, the company did neither, but that is what differs it from Amazon, as the online retailer offers a Prime-exclusive offer to PC builders in which you can grab the MSI VENTUS variant of the RTX 5070 for $579.99.
This deal comes with a 17 percent discount, making it the lowest price for this GPU. Those following NVIDIA’s product launches are well aware that the RTX 5070 comes with 12GB of GDDR7 video memory, which is more or less sufficient for cranking up all the visual settings to their maximum values for this year. Then again, we cannot say for certain how that 12GB framebuffer will hold up in 2026 or 2027, but if NVIDIA’s upscaling algorithms can help lower the VRAM consumption, then the $579.99 price is an even better offer at this time.
The MSI VENTUS version sports a triple-fan cooler, which dispels hot air from a nickel-plated copper baseplate. You also get a single HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 2.1 inputs for a multi-monitor setup. Also, let us not forget DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation that will be available at your fingertips in several games, along with ray tracing and path tracing features that really ‘pop’ up the image quality.
Then again, if these additions do not matter to you and if you care more about pure rasterization, we might interest you in getting the GIGABYTE WINDFORCE Radeon RX 9070, with its 16GB GDDR6 VRAM available as an Amazon Prime-exclusive deal for $669.99.
