MSI's GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Shadow 3X GPU Features A Minimalistic Design With A Unique Bronze & Grey Color Scheme

MSI has introduced a new lineup of GPUs under the "Shadow 3X" series with the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Shadow 3X OC being the first to hit shelves. As the name suggests, the GPU features a new color scheme, boasts a triple fan design, and has no apparent RGB running around, making it perfect for those who prefer minimalistic builds. This design is very similar to the Ventus 3X cards but with a more stealthier approach.

Before we dive into the specifics, let's look at what the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GPU is equipped with. The GPU features a choice of AD103-275 / AD102-175 GPU SKUs (PG141 SKU 323) with 8,448 cores across both variants & 48 MB of L2 cache. The graphics card comes with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, a 4 GB VRAM upgrade vs the RTX 4070 Ti Non-SUPER, and supports a 256-bit bus interface. The graphics card retains a 285-watt TGP, the same as the non-SUPER variant.

Now, the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Shadow 3X is an overclocked version of the original GPU; hence, it comes with bumped-up clock speeds, 2655 MHz in "Extreme Performance" and 2640 MHz boost frequencies. So, in terms of performance, MSI's SHADOW 3X should be slightly better than the reference variant. Apart from that, with the triple-fan design, the company aims to provide good cooling performance through its onboard TORX 4.0 fans.

Detailing the color scheme a bit, the GPU's shroud features a "military-kind" color running around, with a gray and bronze design. For those desiring simplicity, the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Shadow 3X is a great option to look out for. MSI hasn't disclosed the pricing of its newest model yet, so we can't be sure. However, we expect it to drop somewhere around the GPU's official MSRP, $799.
