MSI to Give Away One RTX 5090 Lightning Z and One RTX 5070 Vanguard Launch Edition to the Participants
The MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Lightning Z was one of our favorites at CES. It's unlike any other GeForce RTX 5090 ever made, but it's special for two reasons: Bringing a 2500W power limit to the GPU through a premium design and cooler, and the debut of the Lightning series after several years. It has been nearly 7 years since we saw a Lightning Z GPU from MSI, and the last edition was the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z launched in 2019.
After skipping two generations, MSI made a big comeback, significantly improving the design for the flagship RTX 50 GPU and bringing a dedicated AIO cooling solution in the series for the first time. You might already know that it's a limited edition GPU and there will be just 1,300 units worldwide. Price-wise, you can expect it to cross $4K if not more, considering it's specially designed if you love to "Break Your Limits".
MSI has announced that participants will have to comment on how they broke a "limit" on the giveaway posts, along with a #LightningBreakLimit hashtag. The "limit" is defined as something that you have ever broken in anything, such as the best running times, the best computer overclocking records you ever made, etc. The giveaway has started and will end on Feb 10th, 2026 (11:59 PM UTC+8).
Only one lucky winner will receive the RTX 5090 Lightning Z GPU, but four more lucky winners will be announced, each getting a different prize. The runner-up will get the MSI RTX 5070 Vanguard Launch Edition GPU, while the 3rd, 4th, and 5th position winners will receive one MSI Strike Pro keyboard + Versa Pro gaming mouse set.
