Later this week, some lucky fans of the Mirror's Edge series will be able to try out the new entry of the series, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, thanks to a closed beta that will be running for a few days. If you really cannot wait for a few more days to see more of the game in action, you will definitely be happy to know that a rather long new gameplay video has surfaced online in the past few hours.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst

The new Mirror's Edge Catalyst gameplay video is around one hour long, showing some of the areas and content that has already been shown before as well as some brand new sequences that have never been shown before. You can check out the new gameplay video right below.

As already mentioned, the Mirror's Edge Catalyst closed beta will be held later this week. From April 22nd until April 26th, some lucky PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Owners will be able to enjoy some of the game's content such as main missions, Side Missions, Social Play features and other optional content. The team underlined how the beta's quality won't be representative of the final game's quality, so we should expect some changes to be implemented following the end of the closed beta.

Last week, some new Mirror's Edge Catalyst screenshots have surfaced online, showcasing the six major factions that dominate the world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Screenshots showcasing the districts of the city of Glass have also surfaced online a few weeks ago.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 24th in North America and on May 26th in Europe.
