While North America prefers the Green team, some regions in Europe seem to incline towards AMD GPUs more.

Mindfactory GPU Sales Reveal AMD Radeon RX 9000 GPUs are in Higher Demand Than NVIDIA RTX 50 Series

Not long ago, we saw June's stats for the best-selling GPUs on Amazon US, and the numbers proved that gamers still prefer NVIDIA cards over AMD. In some European regions, gamers seem to favor AMD GPUs more, and once again, we see the AMD RDNA 4 GPUs dominate the sales on one of the most popular German retailers called Mindfactory.

It's not the first time we've seen Radeon RX 9000 GPUs selling more than NVIDIA, but we expected NVIDIA to take the lead since the RTX 50 series prices have come down to almost MSRP or even lower in some cases. It's no surprise to see gamers buying more NVIDIA GPUs, even if we have equally powerful AMD GPUs. This is due to various reasons like better Ray Tracing performance, users' trust on drivers, strong branding, etc. However, there is no denying the fact that AMD GPU drivers are significantly superior to what they were several years ago.

Coming to the stats, we see the Radeon RX 9070 XT topping the charts at Mindfactory with about 470 units sold in the last week. The numbers have increased compared to previous months, and this is particularly due to the drop in prices. Next, we have the Radeon RX 9060 XT, a GPU that is available in both 8 GB and 16 GB variants. Not surprisingly, we see the 16 GB variant selling around 215 units while the 8 GB variant sold just 40 units. This is even lower than the RTX 5060, which sold 45 units.

In the third and fourth positions, the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti enjoy being the most popular NVIDIA GPUs from the current RTX 50 series. RTX 5060 Ti sold about 145 units, and the RTX 5070 Ti sold 125 units. Shockingly, the GeForce RTX 5070, which was the best-selling GPU on Amazon in June, sold only 55 units. We don't know the exact reason for this since we can see a lot of RTX 5070 editions being available between 550-600 Euros, which is much lower than its MSRP of 649 Euros.

Gamers are preferring the Radeon RX 9070 instead, which sold 75 units, while we see this GPU sitting idle on the shelves in a lot of stores. Now, as far as the total GPU share is concerned on Mindfactory, we see AMD shipping almost 65% (950 units) of the total GPUs in the last week. NVIDIA is around 35% with 510 units. With a much lower average selling price of 574 Euros, AMD was able to secure 58.13% of revenue, and NVIDIA generated 41.87% of the revenue with an ASP of 770 Euros. The higher ASP is due to GPUs like RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5090.
