The base 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro getting discounted to $1,399 was one of the best deals available on Amazon during the latter’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale. Unfortunately, as you would expect, the prices slowly started creeping to the point that the portable Mac did not appear to flaunt incredible value, and the potential buyer would need to spend a little extra to get the more powerful variants. Thankfully, these occurrences are a thing of the past because the base version has once again been discounted by 9 percent, bringing its price down to $1,449.
Keep in mind that while that the aforementioned figure is the second-lowest that we have seen for the base M4 MacBook Pro, and given that there is a $50 difference between the first and last discount, we are confident that you will let that slide. Also, as if it was not obvious before, Apple has bumped up the specifications this year. For the M4 MacBook Pro, you get the top-end chipset with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, paired with 16GB of unified RAM and 512GB of storage.

Of course, these specifications are nothing compared to the value that you get when you upgrade to the M4 Pro version, because at $200 off, you get internals that comprise of a 12-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 24GB unified RAM and 512GB of storage. Keep in mind that both discounts are currently applicable on the Space Black finish, with the quickest delivery happening after Christmas, between December 20-24 for the M4 Pro version.

Given how fast these portable Macs are discounted shortly after their launch, we believe there will be consistent price cuts on these machines, but why should you wait for the next offer when you can take advantage of the one right now?
