Bloomberg's Mark Gurman shared another leak just before the event about Apple bringing a new model of the AirPods Max after the last update was made in 2020. According to the information, the headphones would be packed with adaptive audio and improved noise cancellation capabilities, and they would potentially move over to a USB-C port, given the industry's general trend.
We are expecting the AirPods 4 models to be released today, and now, there is the possibility of the AirPods Max 2. There have not been any hints about the AirPods Pro to be announced at the keynote. At the moment, no other salient details are available about the specifications, potential color, or design changes we can expect from AirPods Max 2. However, it has been a while since the model was last upgraded, it lacks many features that AirPods Pro and others in the competition offer.
