Kinectimals Now Available On Apple AppStore

Kinectimals started off as a console exclusive title for the Kinect; Microsoft's entry into the motion sensor race along side PlayStation Move, the game later on spread to the Windows Phone 7 app store and let you make the cuteness mobile. But it seems Microsoft wants to share the furry creatures even more by letting them roam on the Apple Appstore for the super low price of ONLY $2.99 which is the same price on the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. Considering the entertainment value and the graphics and those of us who lived through the Giga pet fad this is a great chance for us for some Nostalgia.

After going from Console to Mobile to even more mobile these furry creatures have taken a leap from the Windows platform to the big Apple itself. Kinectimals is a fun game where you interact with mainly cub members of the cat family such as tigers and cheetahs, if you grew up in the era of giga pets you will definitely be able to relate to the game. Kinectimals lets you take care of a virtual pet by leaving you in charge of its happiness, health, hunger and more importantly exercise but throw in adorable creatures with superb graphics and you have a better package than any other pet simulator on the Windows Phone 7 / Apple devices.

Kinectimals offers a good variety of animals to choose from and is only available in a limited number of App stores right now based on region so if it's not in your regional app store right you should wait a few days or so and wait for it to turn up. The game can run on iOS 4.2 and above and can run on iPad 1 / iPad 2 / iPhone 3GS / iPhone 4 / iPhone 4S / iPod Touch 3G / iPod Touch 4G. the game is a hefty 178 MB download and definitely should be downloaded by wi-fi or if you are constantly on the go you can choose 3G too. But one thing is for sure even though this is meant for kids it still wouldn't be embarrassing to see people of all ages enjoy this game especially who are on the subway or bus. Although Kinectimals and driving DO NOT MIX so don't go that far for a virtual pet 😉
