The open world game Just Cause 3, developed by Avalanche, is an incredibly engaging single player experience. The game, unfortunately, lacks a multiplayer mode, but the team behind the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod is going to change this later this year with a new mod.

The Just Cause Multiplayer team has recently revealed on its Official Website that they are currently at work on a Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod, which will add a multiplayer mode to the PC version of the game. Not much is known about the mod, but the team has promised frequent updates on their progress so we should hear more about it soon enough.

We’re incredibly excited to show off the progress we’ve made these last few weeks. Moving forward you can expect frequent updates on our progress along with exciting new developments as they happen.

The Just Cause Multiplayer team has also released a new video showcasing the mod's features. As the Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod is still under development, we should expect things to be different in the final release.

The Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod is one of the more popular mods released for the Avalanche developed open world game. The mod has even been released on Steam around two years ago.

JC2-MP is a project to bring multiplayer to Just Cause 2 in all of its magnificent glory. Imagine the chaos of normal Just Cause 2, then extending it out to dozens, hundreds, and even thousands of players.

Just Cause 3 is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A release date for the Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod has yet to be confirmed, but we are surely going to learn more about the matter soon with the frequent updates the team has promised.
