In a surprising news of the day, we are seeing a tool being claimed as iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak solution. The jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 looks legitimate as we are seeing i0n1c himself acknowledging it - not in a happy way, mind you. Released by a group of Chinese hackers named Pangu, we are seeing quite an stream of users jailbreaking iOS 7.1.1 on their devices - successfully!

iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak:
While it is early to suggest if it actually is a fool-proof solution, users have assured that they have successfully jailbroken their devices and they can see Cydia on it. Some users though have complained about seeing sketchy apps inside.

Stefan Essar had previously shared that he has been able to successfully jailbreak iOS 7.1.1, along with a few other hackers, however, it wasn't publicly released as iOS 8 is just around the corner. Seems like Pangu group has got the inside exploits from Essar.

You should wait a little while until is confirmed that there are no hidden phishing schemes lying underneath the jailbreak tool. Here are some problems as shared by iH8sn0w including the apparent load of Chinese apps.
Also, uninstalling the “ppsync” from Cydia will not properly restore the com.apple.mobile.installd LaunchDaemon plist.
