Google Next Huawei Made Nexus To Come With Snapdragon 810
Google's presence in the smartphone world is dominated primarily through its operating system, Android, which powers the majority of our portable gadgets. And while Android on devices is great, it often comes with bloatware and other applications pre-loaded onto devices either by manufacturers or carriers. So every year Google also launches its Nexus devices that run pure Android as well. And while last year's Nexus devices were manufactured by Motorola and HTC, there's been increasing word around that Google's turning to Chinese manufacturer Huawei for its latest Nexus devices yet to come.
Google's Next Nexus To Be Manufactured By Huawei And Boast Snapdragon 810
Looks like the Snapdragon 810 has finally started to see its image improve in the mobile world as new rumors today state that the next Nexus might be coming with Qualcomm's latest. The rumors are courtesy of Pan Jiutang, a Chinese analyst with some connections inside the mobile world. But if Google really does intend for the next Nexus to come with the Snapdragon 810 on board, then its going to need to speed things up, as its successor, the Snapdragon 820 is also expected to hit the market soon.
Other specifications for the next Nexus include a 5.7 inch, 2K screen with a QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560. There's no word yet on the device's other specifications, including camera specifications, battery capacity, wireless capabilities and more, perhaps because the device might be in its early stages of development. Yet, given these top notch specifications, the major question here is what price tag will Google be choosing for its Nexus upgrade? The last Nexus has been criticized by many for being a tad bit too overpriced and judging by these rumors, Google's looking to target the high end market rather than its core, loyal users. But that's all speculation for now. Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated.
