Here's how to respec and reset all your Skill Points in Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert is one of those rare games that doesn't hold your hand, and often doesn't detail its many features and mechanics. This includes the respec mechanics, which are available in the game, but are not free as they are in most modern games

Respeccing Procedure

To respec in Crimson Desert, you must have a Faded Abyss Artifact in your inventory. These are way rarer than the standard Abyss Artifacts used to unlock skills and are typically obtained as rewards for some of the game's most intense challenges.

To respec, you have to:

  1. Open the Skills Menu.
  2. Ensure you have at least one Faded Abyss Artifact.
  3. Hold Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) while on the main skill tree screen.

After doing so, your entire skill tree will be wiped clean, and all Abyss Artifacts will be refunded, allowing you to try out different skills without having to hunt for more Abyss Artifacts.

Why You Should Respec

As certain essential skills like the Blinding Flash Finisher and Evasive Slash require an Abyss Artifact to unlock, you may end up without Abyss Artifacts to learn them right when combat difficulty ramps up.

Using a Faded Abyss Artifact allows you to reclaim these crucial items and immediately dump them into the best combat skills that make the game's difficult encounters much more manageable.
