Horizon Forbidden West

Today, Nixxes Software and Guerrilla Games revealed the full PC system requirements for Horizon Forbidden West, which is scheduled to launch on March 21.

The requirements are rather high. Firstly, you'll need an SSD with at least 150GB of free space. Moreover, to play at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on the 'Very High' graphics preset, a GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT will be required.

Unfortunately, the developers haven't revealed whether these system requirements for Horizon Forbidden West assume the usage of certain upscaling techniques. For example, we already know that the game will support NVIDIA's DLSS 3, Reflex, and DLAA. The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn will also support AMD FSR and Intel XeSS upscalers, while Microsoft DirectStorage will be used to deliver faster load times. The PC version, available via Steam and the Epic Games Store, will include the base game and the Burning Shores DLC.

In other PC gaming news, NVIDIA has just released a new Game Ready driver (version 551.76) optimized for The Thaumaturge, a tactical turn-based RPG from the studio that has been tasked to remake the first The Witcher game. The Thaumaturge supports NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Reflex.

The official changelog also reveals a few bug fixes:
