As announced today, the unique 2D role-playing game with a major narrative focus will be the first Xbox game to hit the console tomorrow, February 22nd. The survival co-op game, on the other hand, will launch in around two months, on April 16th.

While both are excellent titles, there's no denying that Grounded definitely has a much wider appeal, given how popular survival games are nowadays. Nintendo Switch owners are in for a treat, as the game developed by Obsidian is among the best in the genre, as highlighted by Chris in his review.

Grounded is undoubtedly one of the best survival games around. While it falls into some of the same traps, getting very grindy and gatekeeping progression while not signposting as well as it should do, there's little doubt that it's a very engaging game. Where many games will give you a world to play around in, Grounded places you in a living, breathing world and has you engage with every element in interesting ways.

Pentiment and Grounded are now out on PC and Xbox Series X|S worldwide. They will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on February 22nd and April 16th, respectively.
