Google Pixel & Pixel XL See Alleged Display Assemblies And Cases Leak

Google's Pixel and Pixel XL devices have started to become an increasing part of the rumor mill. We've been seeing benchmarks, renders, case images and specifications surface with regularity over the past couple of months. They've managed to paint a bright picture for the devices, that will be launched this October according to sources. Hardware leaks for the pair have been relatively difficult to get by. Compared to the iPhone and the Galaxy lineup, the Pixel and Pixel XL have been shy when giving us a view of their internals. Today, that looks to change. Some alleged images of the pair's display assembly have surfaced today. Take a look below to find out more.

Google's Pixel And Pixel XL See Alleged Display Assemblies And Case Images Surface

Quite a lot of information has surfaced on the Google Pixel and Pixel XL lineup so far. The devices will feature the Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM and 12MP rear camera sensors. These will effectively place them in the higher end flagship bracket, one that Google's been quite eager to target over recent years. USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.1 and front facing speakers have also been rumored for the pair.

Now, alleged display assemblies for the devices end up confirming earlier leaks. For starters, they show screen sizes of 5.0 and 5.5 inches for the Pixel and Pixel XL. There's very little information so far on what differentiating features the pair will feature apart from screen sizes. Taking a look at the images below, the overall design for front bezels also appears to be quite balanced. Given that the majority of leaks for the Pixel lineup have focused on the back of the devices, today's images mark a nice change.

In addition to display assemblies, some alleged case images of the Pixel duo have also surfaced. The front of the device in these images largely resembles what the display assemblies come to represent. The rear also conforms with information that has surfaced previously. The rather larger camera sensor coupled with the fingerprint sensor are evident on today's images. The Pixel and Pixel XL are also rumored with a rather unorthodox rear design.

The back of the devices will be manufactured with glass and metal, resulting in a contrasted look. The fingerprint sensor will also increase in terms of functionality. Apart from being able to unlock the devices, it will also perform functions such as dragging down the notification bar. The Pixel and Pixel XL look to be quite interesting devices so far. More information will surface on them as time passes. Till then, stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below. We'll keep you updated on the latest.
