Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL’s Official Renders Display Potential For New Features
Google's Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will launch next month, and there aren't a lot of surprises left for Google to unveil. The Pixel 3 lineup is the most extensively leaked gadget in tech history, as Google managed to misplace an entire batch of pre-production units. But, these aren't the only leaks for the smartphone. Today we've got some official renders for the Pixel 3 lineup. Take a look below for more.
Allegedly Official Leaked Renders For The Google Pixel 3 And Pixel 3 XL Show A Notch For The Latter And Thick Bezels For The Former
When we take a look at all of Pixel 3 leaks that have taken place so far, they're either in the form of unboxing reveals or renders. Both converge at the same design and other details for the devices. Today we've got some more renders of the upcoming Pixel smartphones that serve well to refresh our memories on what to expect from them.
The Pixel 3 XL will feature a large notch that's described by several folks as very ugly. Google will equip both of the devices with a dual front camera setup and for the larger Pixel, a notch will house the lenses. This is due to the fact that the larger Pixel will carry a bezel-free display, a fact that's untrue for the entry level Pixel 3.
As you can see above, Google's larger Pixel 3 will feature a tall notch and a thick bottom chin. Google's lack of attention towards aesthetics on the smartphone will cost it. The smartphone's design looks as if confused between following an edge-to-edge display trend and keeping design constraints minimum. As a result, it does neither particularly well. Google's salvation now is the features it should introduce with the smartphones.
Both of the Pixels will have the unique distinction of a single rear camera and a dual front camera. The latter will provide Google with plenty of opportunities to implement software-based features to differentiate the Pixel 3 lineup from other gadgets in the market. Whether it will, only time can tell. Till then stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below. We'll keep you updated on the latest.
