The first Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut post-launch patch is now live on PC, introducing stability improvements and fixes for some NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3 issues.

As mentioned above, the 1053.0.0522.1042 patch focuses on improving stability and fixing some NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3 issues. Specifically, the patch fixes visual bugs that could show when transitioning from cutscenes to gameplay with DLSS 3 Frame Generation enabled, and fixed other visual issues that could show when combining AMD FSR 3 upscaling with Dynamic Resolution Scaling.

This Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is only going the first one, as Nixxes and Sucker Punch confirmed they are working hard on future patches that will address issues raised by the community and further improve stability on specific hardware configurations for both the single-player campaign and the Legends multiplayer mode.

Despite some users having stability issues, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut managed to become the most successful PlayStation launch on Steam, setting a new concurrent player peak record for Sony's single-player games on Steam, soundly beating the previous record holder, God of War. With Helldivers II also doing incredibly well, it's clear that Sony is finding more success with its PC releases, hopefully convincing the company to release their former PlayStation exclusives on PC sooner than it has been doing these past few years.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. You can learn more about the base game by checking out Alessio's review.
