A lot of rumors previously pointed towards a refreshed RTX 50 series GPUs, aka RTX 50 Super, and the Seasonic leak is the latest one.
Official Seasonic PSU Calculator Lists GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti "Super" Cards, Indicating the Existence of Super Series
We previously reported that NVIDIA won't be releasing any "Super" series RTX 50 series cards this year, as NVIDIA never planned such a launch. While our sources also indicated that we "may" not see them launching even at CES, the latest leak appears to be an indication that NVIDIA "might" launch the RTX 50 Super series at CES. Take this with a grain of salt since the appearance of the RTX 50 Super isn't necessarily a confirmation for a release.

As reported by Videocardz, the Seasonic PSU calculator just got two new GPUs in its drop-down list. After selecting your CPU, the calculator gives the option to choose your GPU, and when you select NVIDIA from the first drop-down, you will find two RTX 50 series "Super" cards in the next drop-down list. We can see both the GeForce RTX 5070 Super and the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Super cards in the list, as you can see above, and this indicates that the Super series does exist.
We have been hearing about the rumored specifications of the RTX 50 series "Super" for months, and these GPUs look particularly interesting due to higher VRAM capacity. As per some reports, the GeForce RTX 50 Super cards will boast 3 GB GDDR7 memory modules, increasing the overall VRAM capacity by 50%. This means we are going to see 18 GB GDDR7 VRAM on the GeForce RTX 5070 and 24 GB on the RTX 5070 Ti. For the RTX 5070 Super, this appears to be a dealbreaker, as the RTX 5070 with 12 GB VRAM doesn't offer the same future-proofing.

As far as other specs are concerned, we don't expect any significant change except for the TDP, which will be higher on the Super cards as revealed in the PSU calculator. The RTX 5070 Super will reportedly carry a TDP of 275W (RTX 5070 is rated at 250W), and the RTX 5070 Ti Super will be more power hungry than the non-Super variant as well, rated at 350W TDP (RTX 5070 Ti is rated at 300W). Previous reports also confirmed 275W and 350W for these GPUs. However, the rest of the stuff is likely to be retained on the Super variants.
Now, it's a totally different thing whether these GPUs are planned for a release at CES, but we can finally see that the existence of Super GPUs isn't just a rumor. NVIDIA may not have planned an official launch for these GPUs, but it doesn't mean that the company won't plan it in the near future.
