Galaxy S24 Could Translate Phone Calls in Real-time with the Help of Generative AI

Now that Samsung has announced its generative AI, we have heard how the company could introduce the feature in the Galaxy S24 as a subscription service. We are getting more and more details about how the feature will work. A new report now suggests that with the feature finally out next year, it could allow users to translate calls in real-time, making it one of the most useful features.

Real-time call translation is one of the AI features coming to Galaxy S24

Samsung has made an announcement on its official website and talks about AI Live Translate Call. The name is a no-brainer and talks about how the feature will allow Galaxy S24 users to provide real-time text and audio translations of what the other person is saying when you are on a phone call. The best thing is that the entire feature is going to happen on-device, meaning that you should not have to worry about privacy.

The feature sounds promising, but you have to remember that this could work very differently. For instance, we still don't know if it will be limited or will be available in all languages and regions upon launch. Samsung will launch its Galaxy AI early next year, and it will be on the Galaxy S24 series, which is due on January 17th, 2024, based on all the rumors we have heard.

Obviously, the ability to translate calls in real-time will not be the only AI-related feature that will be coming to the Galaxy S24. Samsung is most likely working on a myriad of features that will be making their way to the latest flagship and perhaps most phones later down the road. We just have to wait and see how Samsung handles AI.
