Facebook Is Now Letting Users Add Music To Their Profile And Stories – Here’s How It Works
Facebook never seems to rest when it comes to introducing new features to the mix. While your current profile on the platform visually reflects what and how you're doing, the company is adding another layer attraction. That's right, Facebook has announced that it is offering several new ways to incorporate music into their profile and Stories. Let's dive in to see some more details on the feature and how it works.
You Will Soon Be Able To Add Music To Your Facebook Profile
From this day forward, users will be able to add sounds in Stories. To make use of the new addition all you have to do is tap on the "Music" sticker and select the song. You have the option available to play the song until your Story ends or you can also select a specific portion of the song. The features work in a similar way to how you would do it in Instagram Stories.
Other than adding music to your Stories, Facebook will also soon allow individuals to play songs at their profile. There will be a new Music section on your profile which will let you show the songs that you are listening to. Furthermore, you can also pin your favorite songs to your profile as well, enabling visitors to know what kind of a mood you are in. Visitors can listen to the short sound clips in the Music section and can also visit the artist's page.
Facebook is expanding its deals to license music from UMG, Sony, Warner Bros and more. There are a lot of other aspects the feature and you can read out the remaining details here.
