Exoprimal, the co-op shooter in development by CAPCOM for PC and consoles, will be among the games showcased during today's Spotlight event. According to a report, the Japanese publisher will also reveal the game's release date during this event.

According to a new report shared on Insider Gaming, the co-op shooter will launch on July 14th on PC and consoles. No additional information has been provided, but we will likely hear more about additional editions, if there will be any, later today during the event.

Last month, Exoprimal was rated by the ESRB in the United States, making it clear that a release date announcement was on the way. However, it has been a while since we have seen anything of the game, so it will be interesting to see if the development team listened to player feedback following the Closed Network Test.

Despite not being a huge fan of shooter games, I did enjoy what I played of Exoprimal during the aforementioned Closed Network Test, mostly thanks to the great feel of traversal and combat and the unpredictability of the available game modes.

Exoprimal launches on a yet-to-be-officially-confirmed release date on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. We will let you know if the game indeed releases on July 14th as soon as an announcement is made, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
