Tronsmart Announces Encore Lightning Headphones with Built-In DAC and LAM

Now that the initial flurry that Apple caused by removing the headphone jack is over, we are seeing a number of headphone companies that were already preparing for the change. This year's iPhone 7 didn't bring any surprise features as almost everything managed to make to the leaks ahead of the launch event. Which is another reason why we are looking at a rush of new Lightning headphones entering the market.

In-ear Lightning headphones with built-in DAC and LAM

Tronsmart is the latest company that has announced a pair of in-ear Lightning headphones. Exclusively designed for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Tronsmart's Lightning headphones appear to be the first to include a DAC (digital to analog) converter. The Transmort Encore in-ear headphones also use a Lightning audio module (LAM) for its speakers to deliver 48 kHz/24 bit digital audio.

With noise-isolating ear tips and Kevlar fiber cable to help reduce damage to cords, Tronsmart has done a good job with Encore Lightning headphones. For added comfort, the headphones come with tips in three different sizes of small, medium and large.

While the company still hasn't shared the pricing details, it is inviting iPhone 7 users to try out the new headphones by entering the company giveaway.

If you have received your iPhone 7 and plan to buy the "world's first Lightning headphones with built-in LAM and DAC," enter for a chance to win one of the 100 prizes that Tronsmart is giving away. Not only can you get yourself one of these beautifully designed headphones, but you also get a chance to win an iPhone 7. Yep, Tronsmart will give the first winner a brand new iPhone 7.
