Apple releases the final build of tvOS 16.4.1 and HoemPod Software 16.4.1 for Apple TV and HomePod

Apple has released tvOS 16.4.1 to the public for all compatible Apple TV models. The update does not bring any major changes to the table. However, it does include numerous bug fixes and performance improvements. Ultimately, this will enhance the stability of the user experience. Since Apple does not provide release notes for the platform, tvOS updates have always been minor in terms of forward-facing features when compared to other updates.

If you were willing to install the latest update on your compatible Apple TV model, it can be downloaded over the air. All you have to do is head over to the Settings app, tap on System, and then select Software Update. If you have enabled automatic software updates, the latest tvOS 16.4.1 build will be downloaded automatically when the device is connected to the internet.

Apart from this, Apple has also released HomePod Software 16.4.1 to the public. The latest update will be installed automatically on your HomePod smart speaker. However, be sure to enable the feature. If you want to manually update to the latest update, you can also do so through the Home app. The latest update will potentially add performance enhancements and stability improvements as well. The latest update arrives a day after the second iOS 16.5 beta was seeded to developers. Today, the company has seeded the second public beta as well.

This is all there is to it, folks. It is unclear if the latest additions bring anything new to the table, but we will wait for the developers to tinker with the latest build. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
