[Original Story]: Doom, the new entry of the classic first person series created by id Software, has been in development for quite some time, but now that 2016 has come, fans of this classic series can finally start getting excited for the game. A final release date has yet to be revealed by Bethesda, but it seems like the game is going to be released sometime this June, at least according to a popular online retailer.

Amazon France has recently started listing Doom with a June 30th release date for all formats. This specific release may not be the actual release day, as June 30th is a Thursday, but it's more than likely that the game will finally be released during June 2016, considering Amazon France revealed the correct release dates for Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza 6 last year before the official announcement.

Doom was originally known as Doom 4 and it's a reboot of the Doom series created by id Software. The game has been in development for years with almost no news from the team and development was restarted completely in 2011, with Bethesda now handling publishing duties.

The new entry of the series will come with plenty of interesting features that fans of the classic Doom games will surely appreciate like a huge arsenal, hordes of horrifying demons and a fast paced gameplay experience. Many enemies from the original games will be making a glorious comeback, with some of them also getting a new design.

There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health as you beat back Hell’s raging demon hordes. Combine your arsenal of futuristic and iconic guns, upgrades, movement and an advanced melee system to knock-down, slash, stomp, crush, and blow apart demons in creative and violent ways.

Doom will be released sometime this year in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. More on the game's final release date will surely be coming in soon, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
