‘DOOM’ Closed Alpha Weapon Images Leak

The closed multiplayer Alpha for the upcoming DOOM will be kicking off this weekend, but already images of the 'Alpha' weapons have been leaked online.

The 'leak' shows the weapons that will be available in the Alpha's weapon selection screen. Developer Bethesda announced the start of the closed Alpha on Twitter a few days ago.

According to Bethesda, DOOM returns as a brutally fun and challenging modern-day shooter experience. Relentless demons, impossibly destructive guns, and fast, fluid movement provide the foundation for intense, first-person combat – whether players are obliterating demon hordes through the depths of Hell in the single-player campaign, or competing against friends in numerous multiplayer modes.

The closed multiplayer Alpha is a series of development-driven tests designed to stress test the game’s dedicated server infrastructure in a real-world consumer environment. It is not the, a demo, or representative of the final game, according to the official Doom website.

1 Team Deathmatch Map With 6 Weapons & 2 Equipment Items

The Alpha will feature 1 map called Heatwave, an industrial-themed map which will place players in an arena setting featuring plenty of armor, ammo, and health pickups. The map includes narrow corridors, walkways and small chambers all link to a central, open area of the map.

One mode will be included in the Alpha - 6vs6 Team Deatmatch, in which two teams of 6 players will try to dominate each other by fighting over the Revenant and Gauss Rifle power-ups, which provide devastating firepower that can turn the tide or ensure victory.

According to the game's website, 6 weapons and 2 equipment items will be included in the Alpha. All of these items can be checked out  in the 'leaked' images down below.

I suggest you check out the official DOOM website for more info. The closed Alpha will start this weekend for PS4, Xbox One and PC.  There's also a FAQ available for those who want some questions answered.
