In the past few days, some The Division players have run into a rather nasty glitch that's commonly known as the backpack glitch, which locks players out of the game by deleting gear and rejecting connection to the servers. In the latest The Division State of the Game broadcast, Ubisoft Massive's Hamish Bode has talked more about the glitch and how the team will deal with the matter.
Mr. Bode revealed during today's The Division State of the Game broadcast that the team had some problems in reproducing the bug, but they finally managed to identify the source of the issue. This week's maintenance will not introduce a fix for the issue, unfortunately, as it will only be deployed through a future game update.
During today's The Division State of the Game, Ubisoft Massive has also detailed some of the future content players will be able to experience. It's been confirmed that Gear Sets will be available after the Incursions update, and that player will soon be able to take on Daily and Weekly Assignements, which will allow them to earn a few more Phoenix Credits. Community Challenges, which will task the whole community with completing a specific task, will also be coming in the future.
Lastly, it won't take long for The Division to learn more about the additional future content. During today's The Division State of the Game, it's been confirmed that a big stream detailing future content will be officially dated in the next couple days.
