The popular co-op FPS survival game that has you delve into procedurally generated mines, Deep Rock Galactic, is getting yet another spin-off title later with Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core. Revealed back in 2023, developer Ghost Ship Games revealed at the Future Games Spring Showcase 2026 that players will be able to dig into this roguelite co-op adventure in just a couple of months' time on May 20, 2026 when it launches in early access on PC.

The original Deep Rock Galactic arrived back in 2018 in early access, and arrived in its 1.0 form back in 2020. Over the years, it has built one of the best-known communities in video games, built around a culture of collaboration and respect between the team at Ghost Ship Games and their community.

Now, Ghost Ship Games is transferring everything it has learned and created with the original Deep Rock Galactic into this new roguelite spin-off, which will also feature procedurally generated levels to keep the roguelike runs even fresher for players ready to spend hours and hours digging through rock and stone.

Rogue Core will be the second DRG spin-off to arrive within the last eight months by the time its early access release hits, after Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, a top-down bullet-heaven spin-off launched out of early access in September 2025.

Set on the planet Hoxxes IV, dwarves will dig deep into the planet to bring lost dig sites back to life, discover what happened in the Greyout, and of course, kill plenty of bugs along the way. The game is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
