It's been over six years since the early access launch of Deep Rock Galactic and nearly four years after version 1.0, and the cooperative first-person shooter game featuring space dwarves is still going strong.

Last January, the game crossed the threshold of 8 million units sold across all platforms. Danish developer Ghost Ship Games is still updating Deep Rock Galactic to keep the interest high. Two days ago, they released a non-exhaustive list of content and features coming with Season 5, which apparently includes adding NVIDIA DLSS 3 support.

Deep Rock Galactic was updated with NVIDIA DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 2 nearly two years ago. The extra performance uplift provided by DLSS 3 will no doubt be nice for owners of GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards, although the game isn't that taxing on PC hardware.

The franchise as a whole is thriving. A single player survivor-like auto-shooter titled Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor launched a couple of weeks ago and already sold over half a million copies. Ghost Ship Games is also working on a roguelite spin-off called Rogue Core, which doesn't have a release date yet.
